Cinedigm announced that they will purchase Viewster and its subsidiary Viewster Anime. They expects to complete the purchase in January 2019.
News - Cinedigm will be publishing Viewster & Viewster anime, with the deal to be completed in the new year. Cinedigm as a publisher has been involved with the distribution and release of titles like Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and the unfinished release of Slam Dunk. No word yet on if this means any rebranding or catalog changes for Viewster.
Murder princess OVA
After a coup, the kingdom is overthrown and a chance meeting leads to the princess becoming a killing machine. The series was really good fun, an action packed romp without anything too heavy ever happening. The twists were predictable but nonetheless was a good series to watch.
So I just found that Masaaki Yuasa’s anime series Kaiba is now available for streaming, free and legally, via Viewster. It also got a DVD/Blu-Ray box set a few months back, which I need to get in on.
For many in North America and Latin America, there's one unsung show that got them hooked on anime: Nippon Animation's Grimm Masterpiece Theater.
