Idira/Vigdís, 💕?

💕 How did they both realize “oh wait, this is actually love”?

Had to think for a while on this actually.

I am a sucker for small moments causing incredible fondness, so I like the idea of them having this dear friendship that progressively grows closer and it's something small that makes them go oh, we're in love actually.

For Idira I think it's when Vigdis cracks a joke at her for the first time. Idira is very funny and jokes around a lot, and Vigdis is very Professional TM, so when Vigdis deadpans something funny, Idira is first confused for a second and then just delighted ❤️ (I also think Idira really likes Vigdis' static-y mechanical laughter) (that might be projecting on my part, lol)

For Vigdis... Okay, my sappy answer is that one day Idira returns from a planetfall especially injured and Vigdis is really worried and scared for her, and when Idira gets better, Vigdis goes "That was a strong reaction... Oh."

But I also think Vigdis is very into Idira being confident and proud of her abilities or a job well done ❤️
