This is a picture of my grandfather (center in uniform) and his family while they were incarcerated at Minidoka in 1945.
There are people who are still trying to argue that stripping citizens of their most basic rights and desecrating their way of life was justifiable.
This article (http://www.tri-cityherald.com/opinion/opn-columns-blogs/article129076019.html) tries to excuse the horrible injustices suffered by Japanese Americans because of racist policy as necessary and not racially motivated.
This disgusting history revisionism is intolerable just as the systems that opt to protect it.
