Determined not to make this meeting more awkward than it already is, he tried to alleviate the rather uncomfortable situation of current occurrence the only way he knew how: small talk. Because what else is he supposed to say to a complete stranger who he doesn't know except for his position and connection to his former teammate. "Yeah I am. quite the coincidence right?
