where oh where do i start. hm. well, first off, you seem. pretty fucking cool all around?? like, we haven’t actually talked or anything, but when i read your posts on my dash you seem pretty goddamn awesome. on top of that, your hawke is just —— she makes me laugh and i adore her and i am INCREDIBLY EXCITED to learn more about her and see her on my dash lots?? additionally to that, you’re just. kinda awesome all around and writing with you is super fun and just. yeah. you’re awesome and i’m really??? glad that i followed you, because what would my dash be without your awesome? a less fun place, i can assure you of THAT MUCH.

AGRIPPA!!! okay, one, you have a lot of blogs, which amuses me so much and i’m super happy to be following. well, most of them, i caN’T REMEMBER IF I FOLLOW ALL OF THEM BUT IF I DON’T I NEED TO FIX THAT, tbh. tbh tbh tbh. okay. so. you’re really lovely??? and so much fun to talk to and plot with when we have shit to plot and man. man oh man. are your characters just fucking fantastic all around. i know like maybe two things about the elder scrolls series but i’m 1000000% certain that your grasp on those characters is SPOT ON because your handle on all the muses i do know are just??? FUCK YES. thank god for agrippa, tbh, thank god. you’re pretty hecking awesome, okay? you just are.

                  The fact that Cassandra allowed him to borrow one of her books is amazing enough in and of itself —— he hadn’t thought that she would even allow him to breathe near it, let alone TOUCH IT, and yet here he is. Holding the book. Walking back towards Cassandra with the knowledge that her taste in literature leaves —— much to be desired. To say the least. To each their own and all that but he would MUCH RATHER never pick up another one of Varric’s romance serials for the rest of his LIFE. No, thank you. Regardless, he draws nearer and ah, yes. There she is. Looking more stressed than usual. Somehow. ❝ You look rather tense, Cassandra —— is the sky about to break open again? ❞

“So,” now that the sky doesn’t seem to be in immediate danger of falling down on their heads, she’s a little lost about what to talk to the Seeker about. Crisis is fine, she can deal with that, and she’s usually pretty damn good at idle chit chat too, but this is the woman who had her clapped in chains not that long ago. Not exactly a great first impression on either of their behalf. Still, she’s nothing if not persistent. Either Cass will love her or hate her, probably the latter, she thinks, but whatever. Might as well get on with it. Eventually her mind sets on a topic which even if Cassandra does not enjoy, it may well be funny. “Ever eaten nug meat?”

From one war to ANOTHER. Such was Desmond's damn luck, and from what he could hear of the local's complaints, he couldn't escape the Templars either. The word was enough to make ice tendril through the assassin's veins. For he was WANTED by these psychotic assholes. Wanted posted were posted all over the world in an attempt to apprehend him once more with lies of why he was a criminal. Perhaps not complete falsifications, but it wasn't the entire truth, either. Pretty typical of the Templars, actually.

Desmond had also heard outside the little village he was near about 'mages'. So, what, the Templars were sitting on opposing sides of a table shouting about sorcery at aliens wizards or something? It wasn't something he was keen to investigate too closely, albeit the scenario had brought SOME humor to him.

Until the bleeding effect had taken it's toll on him abruptly. Forcing him to pass out in the middle of the road. Where people apparently had dragged him to the nearest cot... and had magic percolate through him as a way for a "healer" to mend his "wounds". Yeah... as though the psychological damage he suffered could be magically fixed.. and if it could, that was more terrifying to Desmond than anything else.

He had moved to sit up on the cot that ... someone had laid him upon during one of the fainting fits he had. Out of habit (and paranoia), he reached for sixth sense, or more specifically his "eagle vision" to search for something, anything that could give him an edge. Albeit he knew better. As though he could magically know whom was the enemy in this little village, and whom genuinely wanted to help. As far as the assassin was concerned, it was everyone that was a danger. It was safer that way.

His eyes shifted to a small group. A small bean pole of a man carrying a staff of all things, an even smaller male with a massive crossbow strapped to his back, an individual that looked to be the leader of this pack....

And a woman that looked like the could suplex every single person in the immediate area without so much as breaking a sweat. A subtle smirk cracked the assassin's lips, realizing just how badly he wanted to see that now. Albeit Desmond shifted off the cot, attempting to sneak away. For something didn't seem right about this group.

Nothing he wanted anything to do with, at least.
