Who’s the first to wake up in the morning: Saïx, definitely. He’s an early riser to begin with, and continues to be so despite Axel’s insistence on blackout curtains. Who’s the one to make breakfast: They take turns. Axel actually makes a pretty mean omelette, and Saïx’s coffee will grow hair on your chest. Who’s the one to serve the other breakfast in bed: Axel, and only when Saïx is feeling incredibly ill. Saïx tends to berate himself for being too weak to even get out of bed, so Axel comes bearing breakfast and little forehead kisses to shut him up. Who would suggest a quickie in the morning before work: Both. On the kitchen counter, in the shower, or even just a lazy round in bed, it doesn’t matter. Saïx definitely needs a dose of his redhead though to help him get through the day and to remind himself that there is someone who cares waiting for him to come home. It’s a small mercy, after his time in the Organization. Who suggests they both ditch work to lay around all day: Axel is the perfect enabler for laziness. Most of the times, he simply turns off Saïx’s alarm clock and snuggles up next to him, waiting for the early bird to get up and be promptly convinced that today’s too good of a day to waste in a job. Who chooses the movies: They take turns– and rather civilly at that. Saïx prefers foreign movies, often ones that require a good bit of thought, but Axel picks the perfect movie that’s just right for being sprawled across a couch, feeling Saïx brush his fingers through his hair. Who initiates kissing during the movie, thus distracting the other from the movie all together: Depends on the movie. If it’s one of those boring, foreign movies, Axel will be on Saïx’s lap before the first half hour ends… and Saïx has come to count on it. Who orders lunch: Saïx, because that’s the only way he can get away with paying for Axel’s lunch without Axel making a huge deal about it, teasing him and calling him a dear. Who steals food from the other’s plate without asking: Saïx, surprisingly. It’s his favorite method of punishing Axel whenever he’s being a smartass. Who curls up next to the other and falls asleep due to a full tummy: Axel, and Saïx loves it. It gives him an excuse to let his expression soften and watch those foxlike features relax and uncurl in peaceful slumber.Who distracts the other from trying to work at home: Both, because how dare work steal their attention.Who asks to go get ice cream like a five year old: Neither of them. All they have to do is look at each other, and before you can say ‘sea salt,’ they’re outside buying sundaes for each other. Who takes pictures of their partner eating ice cream: Axel #baeliciousWho makes a sexual joke about the dripping ice cream on their partner’s face: Axel, who now has ice cream all over his face, after Saïx caught him taking that picture. Who cooks dinner: Saïx, but Axel stays in the kitchen the entire time, filling the silence with chatter and quick kisses on Saïx’s cheek. Who cleans up the kitchen afterwards: Saïx always tries to get Axel to clean, but for Axel, there’s always something more interesting for him to do. Unless, Saïx was able to make it worth his while, of course. Who stays up until 2 reading: Saïx. Night owl and early riser does not a good combination make. Axel usually grumbles at him to turn the damn lamp off already. Who kisses their partner while they sleep: Axel. It’s a moment of softness, of vulnerability, but when he looks over and sees Saïx so relaxed and free of the shadows that plagued him, he can’t help but dip his head and softly kiss his lips. This always wakes Saïx up but… he enjoys it too much to let Axel catch on just yet.
