Community events weren’t really his thing, well, really any large function wasn’t his thing. Todd tried his best to avoid large groups of people, but the Masquerade Ball seemed like something that Val would enjoy going to. She was really the only reason he had even considered going in the first place, considering Todd would do almost anything that she wanted without question. He had been debating whether or not to ask her for a few days now, not completely sure how to or if she would even say yes. The last thing he wanted to do was make Val uncomfortable.
"So, are you going to the ball thing that everyone’s been talking about? I mean - are you going with anyone yet?”
