         Menace after menace had come to his planet in the past few years,          making a Jedi’s presence on Florrum a little more than unsettling to          him and his crew. Even as Ahsoka Tano sat across from the pirate          under a makeshift shelter and assured him no Republic or Separatist          war ships would drop out of hyperspace above his planet, he still felt          a trace of distrust.

         He had a feeling the Togruta felt the same distrust towards him, especially          after the last time they’d seen each other. Even though they’d parted          ways on somewhat better terms than expected, anyone would hold at          least some resentment after almost being sold like a prize. But here          she was, on Florrum once again. The details on why were still a little          fuzzy, but he’d hear the whole story eventually.

         He was still curious about one little detail though, finally breaking the          silence between them, “Out of all the people you could have gone to,          you came to me. Why?”

          While it had occurred to him he’d been tossed around as the cadet ship was shaken by Separatist fire, he wasn’t aware how bad, exactly, the gash to his head must have appeared. Not wanting to give himself away, he attempted to brush the Jedi off and dab the blood from his brow with his sleeve — though, not precisely shooing him away, either … ❝S’fine, Commander. ❞

Anakin knelt before the cadet, brows drawn together in plain concern. The youth was most certainly not fine. Not with all that blood. He held out a hand to the boy, trying to farce a reassuring smile to calm him. “While your determination is admirable, we should get you to the medbay.”
