Vikersund, you failed me for the first time. I was soo excited to show my boyfriend ski flying live and Vikersund is usually so much fun - but the weather had other plans I guess. We got to see some jumps tho, and sadly a crash (he ended up literally right in front of me and it was awful). I guess we have to try again next year ❤️
Also tho, glad to see Norwegian journalists bring up the fact that the rules in ski jumping are clearly not the same for everyone and every nation. FIS needs to get their shit together.
everyone here saying they're cancelling but apparently the eurosport stream doesn't know that yet? lmao
What is their goddamn problem??? It is organisable so easily to let even two women's competitions happen tomorrow. They can't tell anyone that 17 jumpers are too much compared to 40!
If the FIS actually doesn't let them fly twice their decision is only to "excuse" with se*ist laziness. Because why can they organise everything for the men but not for the women???
Dear FIS, shame on you!!! 🤡
fannis retiring hit me like a ton of bricks, even tho it was expected and talked about for so many seasons
i will always remember him as the first ski jumper who really caught my eye in terms of his flying style, and i was absolutely amazed by his world record and i remember it like it was yesterday; when you really thought it can't go more than 250 meters, he proved everyone wrong just the next day
he was also one of the og norwegian pancakes in those ridiculous green jackets who kept winning every single team competition and was a vital part of the norwegian team, from the stupid vlogs in hotel halls to the top of the podiums
with every retirement of someone who has been in the world cup for so many years it feels like a part of it is changing, but the achievements and memories of those times will always stay
Love Hannawald for telling everyone that ski flying is an extreme sport and accidents can happen for both men and women. 💪🏻 ❤️
Take notes @Innauer 😒
Hear me out: Tschofe is gonna be a future worldcup winner
