what inspired you to make a medic oc?

[Well I wanted to practice writing a medic’s perspective for the book I was writing (and never finished xD) so I decided that whatever OC I made this blog for they had to be a medic, and after that and naming him, Jay just kinda wrote himself.]

“Yeah, I woke up this morning and decided I wanted to look like a complete douchebag so I thought I’d copy you,” she teased back. Even through the black eye, she was still smiling. She got along ok being back with the MES and working alongside other random teams for missions but she still really missed being with Hesh. He had really grown on her to the point that not being around him almost physically hurt. 

“Am I alright? Like...mentally? No. Probably not. Physically? Yeah. I’m a fucking tank.” She chuckled before shaking her head. “Yeah, I’m perfectly fine. Just got knocked around a bit.”

She checked the list over a few more times as she made her way back up the steps, making sure she had everything Hesh had asked her to get. It was an incredibly random list, one that forced her to go to several different places to get everything. It was strange, especially considering that Hesh of all people was encouraging her to go out to these places on her own, with the exception of Riley of course. Usually, he always went with her unless War asked him to do otherwise. Honestly, the former Alpha expected this to be some sort of test or something. She half expected to see Hesh’s car pull around the corner or Merrick to randomly run into. However, it had all been extremely uneventful. Riley had even been well behaved and relaxed the whole time.

She got back to the apartment and unlocked the door, only to be suddenly met with balloons, streams, and lots of other colorful monstrosities. Confused, she took Riley off the leash and shut the door behind her, setting the groceries on the counter. Squinting a bit, she read the banner strung across the hall that read ‘Happy Birthday’. She frowned. “Hesh? You here?”

“Hey. Long time no see. How are you holding up?”

“Been getting a little beat up here and there but I’m still alive and kicking.” She couldn’t stop the smile from spreading across her lips, even though it hurt her still battered face. She had heard that the Ghosts would be showing up and she was hoping Hesh would be with them.“How have you boys been? Haven’t seen you in months. Thought you fuckers may have forgotten about us here at the lovely MES.”
