It was very heart touching and emotional moment for me to capture the emotions of a father, whose son died in 9/11 tragedy. Matter of fact, I was only 10 minutes away when this tragedy happened ,so I know exactly how difficult it still is for the parents to accept the horrible situation. When I saw my captured portrait on Times square it really brought tears in my eyes that after 22 years still 9/11 tragedy is alive in New Yorkers, and of-course in all American hearts . I think I’ve tried my best to portray this on going life story through his father’s eyes. I was there as I mentioned above in New York City the day the tragedy happened. There’s a pain so loud that it’s silent. While the outer is soft, structured, detailed; the inner is a colorful power, wild untamed. Strong structured shapes are seen within the model and garment with purple that is her stance, rooted in royalty. Moving into hues of yellow displays an established friendship with oneself and green an infinite renewal. She goes from dancing with her inner darkness with sadness draped in blues; to finally becoming the chief ruler of her present and future, while making peace with her past.
