Jayce just smiled pleased after hearing the meows that came from the cat, and he had to admit that it was slightly fascinating the way Jayce treated animals, or more specifically Viktor as a cat. He wondered if he had ever had any pets before.

Chapter 3 Jayvik fic

The cat meowed again without breaking eye contact, it slowly moved a paw away from the floor and stepped forward, it seemed like it was testing something. More steps came after that, getting closer to his stretched leg. Jayce just kept watching it in amusement, still clueless about what the feline was doing. When it eventually stood right in front of him, they just sat down. It looked like the cat was analyzing or maybe jugging him, can cats be judgmental?
