nose buried into the files as she was looking over the documents that the medic had sent her in regards to some additional funding he needed for his experiments. pauling was no scientist, but she did have the basic understanding when it came to science and medical, but the documents was completely foreign to her.
once her feet stopped at the door that lead her into medic’s lab, her free hand knocked on the door. pauling waited a few moments as she tried to have an idea of what the man was saying his documents before she spoke up.
“medic? it’s pauling. i have some questions about your... request?”
Silvestr really really likes to climb, and be high-up. He spends as much spare time as possible sitting on his apartment blocks roof, staring out over the city, “people-watching” as he calls it. Sometimes he’ll go up there at night, too, to watch the stars.
@viktor-the-medic Shawn rounded the corner, gasping for air. He held his bloodied arm against his chest and slid down the wall. "M-medic!" He called out, coughing up blood right after.
“Well given that you’re shivering under all those layers, I’m assuming you have the flu. Which isn’t exactly something you can just ‘sleep off’, you know.” He looks the other over the rim of his mug of tea, smiling just a little before taking a sip.
His eyebrows raise at the comment, and he glances elsewhere sheepishly. What had given it away, he wonders. The raspiness in his voice, or the constant sniffling?
“This is… different,” Viktor replies, settling down in an armchair. He clears his throat, actually out of necessity for once, and continues, “I-It’s only a cough for me, really! A cold, at best! Meanwhile, you look like you’re ready to pass out.”
Gaze moves to the medicine that had been set down before the Heavy, and he shakes his head. “Please, Misha, you need to take it! Unless you want to suffer for another day or two, th-that is.”
The giant Russian seemed to sink deeper into the blankets, grumbling. While he knew deep down that the medical man knew best, it was more pride that was keeping him from taking his medicine. He’d survived much worse in Siberia.
Although he certainly wasn’t ashamed to be buried up to his nose in blankets. Hypocrite.
“Heavy looks like this-- all the time.” Heavy countered, stubborn. He took more pauses in his longer sentences, taking the time to breathe through his nose. “You are doktor. You are more-- important. Must get better fast. Yes?”
A team could survive without a Heavy. Without a Medic? That was tough. Even if their battles weren’t for a while. Misha sniffed, his eyelids sliding shut for a moment. God he was exhausted.
✎ :3c //maybe 5 for vik and 5 for mik? or u can just split it up between mik vik and seb idk its your city
✎ UH INTERACTION HEADCANONS (open)
//Okay! I did 10 11 Total but spread them out over Viktor, Mikael, Seb and Jordan because I’m love your characters
Viktor:
1. Misha having to get used to having a Medic who isn’t? Constantly trying to get into his chest cavity or doing weird experiments? It just really throws him off he’s just expecting Vik to do it
2. If he ever saw them, Misha would adore the music boxes. He himself only collects useless tat like stones and bullet shells, but he really appreciates them and if there was ever an attack on the base, in the aftermath he’d ask if they were safe.
3. In a verse with Laz/Vik and Misha knows, Heavy would make an effort to keep quiet about it. If he felt it was necessary, he might even offer advice on keeping such a relationship flying under the radar. He’s got some experience.
4. Dealing with the snow up in Coldfront! Misha knows a lot and I’m sure Vik’s picked up a few things. Even real boring stuff like shovelling the walkways to yknow hot chocolate
//The rest are going under a cut
Mikael:
1. With a mutual understanding of the goings on of Soviet Russia I can see them really having a talk about their experiences there. Misha might even share a few stories about his uhh mafia days
2. Also with Russia, maybe Mik could encourage Misha to stay in contact better with Oksana after they meet
3. Remember those dogs Heavy tamed when confronting the Administrator that one time? Well as much as he loves dogs, he can’t look after all 3 by himself. So why not grab a guy who loves dogs x20 more than he does? Not sure what they’d do with them from there tho lmao
Sebastion:
1. Cooking! Just making a big feast for their friends and having fun doing it! They could listen to the radio and talk about different foods they’ve tried or their takes on certain recipes
2. Going on from cooking: Misha making some wild Russian food. Maybe not like meat-jelly, like a sweet or soup of some kind. Maybe even those soups in scooped out bread cobs or kvass
3. Seb just has a type of excitable energy that just parallels Misha’s stoic coldness. And that’s good! That positivity could rub off on Misha and lets him ease up a little.
Bonus Jordan:
1. When they first meet, Misha having to take a moment because “oh god this man is so much like Sasha hh” but after getting to know him a little better learns that he’s different and stops making that association. Whether or not he’d talk about it is another thing.
