Gift I did for my cousin at the beginning of this year.

The girl on the pic is kinda similiar character as a hero of my graduation short film I work on. She wears the same outfit, but the other things are much cooler in this reality, because I don’t have to animate it, haha. Sad story.

Another opening influence. I love design of Silverhawks especially their visors and the fact, that they are partly metal, partly real.

I think this amazing designs are so great because they were created by people with experience and people who were just older than people who design these things nowadays. Maybe I am wrong but I think combining old with new makes much better results.

I did not have computer for a very long time, but when I got one, one of the first things I was looking for were intros of old cartoons I watched as child. Remebered pictures, characters and some elements of these shows, but usually not the name, except the Thundercats.

The Centurions I loved this concept when I was younger. The attachable pieces of gear that makes you great fighter in the second. That is also why I loved Power Rangers and their morphin’ time. (At that time I realized that Power Rangers is the best show ever because all the great stuff you need in tv show are in it and so there cannot be greater show.) I also like the fact that heroes of The Centurions are 3 adult men and not teens that are unexperienced in fighting bad guys.

 I have been stuck and even if I did some sort of preparation sketches, worked on storyboard and animatic I have not been happy with my progress so I did not upload any of that stuff. I will upload it here soon but take a look at these, these are fresh. I am motivated now and I will do my best to keep working like this until it is done. 

Btw. Miyazaki today announced that he is goning to do another feature and yesterday I saw Nova Seed - an animated feature done by on man in 4 years of hard work. So many good things are happening in animation right now, it makes me happy.
