I made this background last week. There used to be just his bed in his room.

Quick promotional artwork for further adventure purposes. Still working on finishing the whole Episode 11, but it is near it really is. I made a mistake that I started to improve more elements of the film than it was necessary, but I will do it somehow.

I finally started to polish the whole film. I needed to take a break from it after finishig the school, but I am back on. I know that I am not able to fix everything that I would like to, but that is okay, the overall feeling is priority. I just need to focus on the most important stuff and that should be enough. I have to say that I really like working on it regardless all the things that are not working so well.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have just finished first version of the film “Episode 11″. There is still a lot to do, but this is the very important milestone.

I have to thank my friends who helped me during the process, without their help I wouldn’t be able to get it done in time and at all.  Thanks to Dan, Míša, Lucka, Rozálka, Noemi, Marcel, Filip, Kačka and Eliška who helped me with colouring, inking (comic book terminology, don’t know the right word for animation) and Ivan who helped me with sound. You can do great things if have a group of great friends. Thank you.

Oh, what a cheap animation. At least these two shots are nicely connected. I am getting there and the animation will be soon finished.

High voltage bat!

Hostile robots/Roguebots (Many thanks go to Karel for the name invention.) The big one is called Engine, the one with the bat is Sparks.  And the last one hidden in shadows is mysterious.

3 explosions.  I’ve never animated explosions, so I am happy that it so so works, but I will probably try to change it and make it better in the future. 

It is  hard to understand how it works and even harder to make it believable.  Looking for feedback on how to improve it. Give me your advice, recommend me some tutorials. I am just looking at other animations.

I solved theses three consecutive hit/punch shots yesterday. I aimed to get something like robot-crushing shots in Patlabor opening. I think you can feel Patlabor influence in the whole intro segment of Ep.11 Feeling happy about it. 

One explosion is the next task.
