Cardia and Victor were walking around the city, attempting to track down a chemical Victor needed for his latest experiment. However, Cardia hadn’t visited that particular part of London before, and she was very excited to learn more about it. Clothing, tea, antique, and other types of stores were everywhere, and Cardia couldn’t help but press herself against glass windows to try seeing inside all of them. She only let herself take a split second look before following Victor, knowing that this mission was important to him.
Cardia suddenly gasped, stepping towards a ledge to look closer at the sight that caught her eye. “Victor!” She called for him, staring at the view in front of her. They were standing at the edge of the River Thames, the watery expanse flowing along beautifully. “Victor, come here! The river is beautiful here!” She told him, her eyes flicking towards him. It seemed to Cardia that Victor was too absorbed in his thoughts to hear her, however, causing her to quickly grab his hand to bring him to where she had stood a moment ago. “Loo-” She began to instruct him before her eyes grew wide. Oh no, Cardia thought, her sight flickering to her feet as they slipped off the edge. Oh no!
In the next instant, Cardia plunged into the River Thames.
