Just want to let ya'll know I may run out of pics in my queue soon. I'm currently helping the tornado victims in Vilonia, Arkansas. Once I return home I will fill up the queue again. Thanks.

This used to be Main Street in #Vilonia, #Arkansas. If you listen close you can hear SP say "Can we please not look at this?" At first I thought she was being insensitive but then I realized she understood and it was simply hard for her little heart to watch. Every single business that lined the street is gone. The only restaurant left is Sonic. That's where we met @barackobama's #ServiceService. SP gave one of them #bendibaby mats for his kids and he got her address to send her a surprise from the their headquarters when he got back to DC. And I've now been interviewed by the news about a #tornado. I'm officially an #arkansan. #prayforarkansas #ombamaar #arkanstrong #arkansasrelief #arkansasstrong #arkansasmatters @kark4news #community #compassion (at vilonia, arkansas)
When you get of of your car there is the smell of burning in the air. Because amongst all the destruction there was an air of hope around and so many people coming together to get this place back together. They were burning piles of downed trees and other materials. Burning is the smell of things coming back together.
In class I teach about the power of tornados and how it can turn strong materials into fabric like this metal wrapped around the tree. I can't express how this never felt more real than now.
Tornado House 2
This house belongs to the Lovings. They have three sons in the military. The stars on the house represent their sons. America strong.
Tornado House 1
Don't know when I will drive through again without crying, lives lost, homes destroyed, families displaced. That's ok we will rebuild because we are #ArkanStrong #bentbutnotbroken #viloniatornado #vilonia #strong #hometown
