Vincent sees his dad for the first time in 14 years…

Sure, Emmet has seen Vincent at some points in those years when at school events (because Vincent and Tula have been going to the same school since Tula was in kindergarten, she was just in the grade below him), and they’ve both kind of “seen” each other when Emmet drops off his kids and Rex drops off Vincent for Master Builder Training, but this is the first time in 14 years they’ve really felt like… family.

Tula and Vincent, but 6 years later, ages 17 and 18. 

Vincent escaped his abusive father at age 15, and went to go live with Emmet and his family, since they’re also Vincent’s family. He tries to avoid anything related to his abusive father as much as possible, including refusing to wear dark blue or neon green, preferring to wear orange, like his other dad, instead. he’s become way more chill and laid back since he ran away, eventually turning his traumatic childhood and teen years into fuel for creative writing.

Tula is... well she’s pretty much the same. she still love graffiti art, parkour, she learned how to skateboard when she was 14 so she’s been doing that for a while too. she loves her older brother, especially because Mia, her little sister can still be a bitch sometimes.
