Into the Jungle - Vineboy
Green. Eep had been in the land of Tomorrow for naught but a few days, and the little amount of exploring she had been allowed to do always resulted in the same scenery. Green as far as the eye could see. Sure, there were splashes of color from the flowers that bloomed, and brown as the massive trees reached their arms to the sky, though they were draped in the intermixing gowns of green as vines crept around the bark.
Eep had yet to truly explore their new home, as her family had been somewhat wary of the new terrain. Though they seemed to be broadening their horizons, old habits did die hard, and her father had forced them to move with a cautious air about them. He'd loosen up, Eep mused, as she ambled over gargantuan tree roots, and side stepping flowers underbrush. The redhead had managed to escape his watchful eye, and had made an immediate break for the unexplored trees, eager to see what surprises they held. Her father would be less than pleased upon her return, but that would be something she dealt with later.
There was seldom bright sun in the jungle, though filtered light shone through the thick canopy above, giving Eep the ability to pull herself through the dense forest with ease. There was a rustling above her, which caused the thick girl to look up, certain that it must've been a bird of sorts. She laughed, curious as to what birds resided in Tomorrow, and turned to face the tree she had been side stepping. Small hands and feet began scaling the weathered bark, finding the grooves in the bark forgiving and making ease of the trip up. The trunk seemed to go one forever, before Eep finally pulled herself to a thick branch, pausing to gauge the situation before she'd press on. After all, it had just occurred to her that perhaps it was not a bird at all. Perhaps it was a predator.
