                    He grunted, pushing himself up using a chair that he had managed to somehow break in his fall. Heroes bodies were incredibly sturdy, some had even compared them to demigods for the sheer fact that you could throw most dangerous things at them and somehow their bodies would be relatively alright, but that did not mean that they were incapable of feeling pain.

palutena  is  between  cats  at  the  moment .  this  is  to  say ,  wrestling  with  the  two  currently  clawing  around  her ,  one  hanging  off  her  blouse  &  another  peeking  curiously  around  her  shoulder .  you  always  read  about  the  tragedy  of  crazy  cat  ladies ,  women  doomed  to  loneliness  with  their  animal  companions .  now  she  knows  it  was  not  life  that  made  them  go  mad ,  it  was  the  cats .    “    hope  you’re  getting  enough  clicks  with  this  because——-  AH !  i  really  need  to  cut  their  nails .    ”

it was the name he was using the last time she saw him, though she isn't sure about it now—either way, who's going to hear 'torleif' in a crowd and not think it means him? it's been a long time, and loki's maybe a bit too enthusiastic about it, considering that in a single jump she manages to get her arms around his shoulders and bring the giant down, delighted laughter on her lips.
