Do It For Me part 5
nothing but fluff. enjoy :)
As the night went on I tried my best to forget about everything and have fun. We played a few drinking games then people slowly started leaving. I drove myself over here and obviously couldn’t drive home. Alex said it would be fine if I stayed the night so I crashed on the couch.
I woke up around 3am dehydrated from drinking. I got up and stumbled my way into the kitchen, flipping the light on and opening the fridge.
As I stood there drinking the water, I hear someone come in behind me and it startled me.
I turn around and see Vinnie looking in the pantry.
“Fuckin hell, you scared me,” I said, putting my hand over my chest.
He had on no shirt, no pants. Just his boxers. I hate that he looks so damn good.
He laughs. “My bad.”
He grabs a box of cereal and a bowl then makes his way to the fridge, nudging me out of the way.
“Excuse you,” I push my arm back against him.
“You’re in my house. My turf. Move it little girl,” he nudges me a little harder.
“I’m just saying you could ask nicely instead of pushing me out of the way.”
“Oh please,” he rolls his eyes grabbing the milk. “I didn’t push you, I gently moved you.”
“You pushed me.”
“You’re so damn dramatic,” he pours the cereal and milk in the bowl.
That kinda pissed me off. “Yeah, that’s real funny coming from you.”
He furrows his brows and cocks his head to the side. “What do you mean?”
“Nothing,” I stand there, looking down. After a moment of silence he looks over at me.
“Why are you even up?” He asks.
“I was thirsty.”
“Oh… I was hoping you were gonna say you couldn’t sleep without me,” he smirks and starts eating.
“What your girlfriend didn’t wanna stay the night with you?”
I had to say it.
He chuckled looking down. “My girlfriend?”
“Yeah. The blonde bitch.”
He starts laughing and looks up at me. “You sound jealous.”
“I’m not. I just thought it was funny. You looked so upset when I turned you down earlier I almost felt guilty. I came looking for you to apologize and saw you with your door half open and her bent over the bed. Real classy, by the way.”
His smile fades and he purses his lips. “Oh you actually saw that?”
“Yeah,” I look down, fidgeting with the cap on my bottle.
“I’m sorry.” He sounds genuinely sorry.
“Don’t be,” I say plainly.
“If it makes you feel any better, she sucked.”
I can’t help but giggle at that. “That’s not what you were telling her when you were balls deep inside of her.”
He laughs a little bit. “What, was I supposed to tell her she sucks?”
“Yeah,” I smile at him and shrug, taking a drink of water.
He takes another bite of cereal, still smiling. “On a more serious note, I wish I didn’t hook up with her. I only did it because you actually did kind of hurt my feelings. I mean it’s but whatever but…” his face gets serious. “And also I was jealous you were talking to that guy. And I was drunk. I’m sobered up a little now and, you know… I have some clarity on the situation. I shouldn’t have done it. And I really am sorry that you saw it.”
I feel a small wave of relief and excitement wash over me from his words but then I immediately feel guilty. I was too hard on him.
“I’m sorry, too.” I say, leaning over the counter next to him, propping my face up on my hands. “I honestly don’t know why I’ve been acting the way I have toward you. I truly just felt like you were an asshole. You rubbed me wrong.”
He chuckles again, shaking his head.
“What?” I ask.
“Woman, you literally didn’t even know me and you made that assumption. Then you were mean to me based on that assumption.”
“You were mean to me first,” I give him a fake angry look.
“No you were mean to me first. AND in front of everyone, telling me that you don’t think we’d get along while acting all coy and mysterious-like. I happened to know a little bit about you from following you. I like your content and I think you’re beautiful. I was excited to meet you then you shot me down before I even said a single word to you.”
Alright, now I feel guilty.
“And everyone knew I already had a crush on you, so you really did embarrass me a little bit. You made me feel like I’m just unlikeable,” he adds.
He had a crush on me? Alright, now I feel really guilty.
I frown at him. “You’re right. I’m so sorry, Vinnie.”
He shrugs his shoulders. “It’s alright.”
“Well, now I know you’re not half bad,” I say, giving him the sweetest smile I can.
He laughs a little bit. “Wish I could say the same about you.”
I give him a pouty face and hit his arm gently.
He looks at me smiling for a minute.
“Give me a kiss,” he says.
That caught me off guard.
“What?! No,” I laugh.
“You let me finger you but you won’t give me a kiss?” He says loudly.
“Shush it, you crazy man,” I whisper to him, looking around.
“What?” He laughs. “What it’s some secret now? 3 people saw us doing it.”
“No they fucking didn’t. Did they?”
“Yeah,” He starts laughing harder.
“Jesus, Vinnie,” I cover my face with my hands.
He reaches out and rubs my back, still chuckling. “Alright, I’m just kidding! Bad joke, I’m sorry.”
I reach my hand up and push him playfully. “That scared me.”
“Don’t you push me,” he laughs, pushing me back.
“Ow!”
“Oh please you big baby.”
I push him a little harder and he suddenly stands up and wraps his arms around me, picking me up from behind.
“You won’t win this fight, babe. I’m a lot stronger than you,” he laughs.
“Put me down, Vincent,” I giggle, hitting his arm.
“Say ‘please’.”
“Put me down!”
“Say it!”
“No!”
He puts me down then starts tickling me.
“I’m not stopping until you say it.”
After a few seconds I can’t take it anymore and break. “Alright, alright! Please!” Tears are almost running down my face from laughing so much.
He finally stops then sits back down. “Now was that so hard?”
“Yes, it was,” I say pouting and crossing my arms.
He shakes his head, still smiling and takes the last few bites of his cereal.
“Where are you sleeping?” He asks.
“On the couch,” I nod my head toward the living room.
“That can’t be comfortable.”
“It’s not too bad,” I shrug.
“Do you wanna come upstairs with me? My bed is plenty big and comfortable.”
I look at him for a moment trying to decide. “Yeah, sure.”
He smiles. “Alright, come on.”
“But don’t think you’re getting lucky twice in one night,” I add.
He laughs. “I promise I don’t expect anything from you. I’ll even put a pillow between us if you want.”
“I think that’s a little dramatic.”
“Coming from the drama queen herself,” he says, smirking at me.
