Is it normal that whenever an alter is talking to me, or if anyone in the system is talking, i can't pay attention to anything else that's going around me, unless if the alter is commenting on what im doing?
yeah, that’s pretty normal, especially if you have focus/sensory issues!
ei tea kelle idee oli need sallid ja tuttimütsid kujudele anda. Üli armas tbh
See mingi suurem plaanitud kingitus Eestile :) ev100 kodukal on sellest rohkem
Tulin sest waow eesti blog, jäin sest waow head meemeed
#päästikustatud see on meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeem
So, apparently in my country there's a diagnosis called "passing childhood and teenager dissocative disorder" (my country uses ICD-10 i think) and no developed info about did/osdd and my psych thinks that i have that disorder tho i know i have alters
I don’t know your psychologist but I think one of two things might be happening.
a) your symptoms are being downplayed or not taken seriously by your psychologist. This might be due to your age, how seriously they take dissociative symptoms, or perhaps just, like you said, an issue of culture and information available about the disorders.
b) you’re being diagnosed with this not due to a lack of recognition of symptoms, but as a placeholder diagnosis for insurance purposes while your psychologist takes full note of your symptoms and sees if they pass on their own.
DID (and other dissociative disorders) have been found in relatively the same frequency across a variety of cultures and countries, it’s not just me pushing a US-centered model. If I were you, I’d use information available online for DID/OSDD to treat the symptoms you have, and hold out for a diagnosis for a little while (you’ve been given the DSM equivalent of USDD, unspecified dissociative disorder).
Please let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to help.

vinsikatze replied to your post: dude why does the dark core personality thing...
YEAH it gives off the vibe that hurting others and being a jerk is normal and good by showing it as “above average population” which can make people feel good about it
u literally put it into words, that’s exactly what it does
