Hey Rina! I was thinking of WBBR and I just thought about how Elizabeth and Robert’s son, Henry, would technically be the first King of England to have two grandparents who were “traitors” and convicted of treason and that got me thinking 🤔 do you think Henry would’ve tried to change that and have had them pardoned in some way and gave them a proper burial in a way Elizabeth really couldn’t or do you think he would’ve just tried to ignore it and just focus on the fact his maternal grandfather was still a Tudor King regardless? (And the Dudley blood was still technically on the throne so a win is a win I guess lol)
Oooh that is a really good question! I imagine Henry of being fiercely proud of both his Tudor and Dudley heritage and wanting to glorify both of them. So much so that he adjusts the royal coat of arms to reference his Dudley (and by extension Warwick) ancestry by adding the bear and ragged staff:

I don't think he himself would directly commission apologies for his ancestors, as that might be wading into murky waters a bit too much, but I certainly believe he would encourage and patronise authors who would write defences of his paternal grandfather and great-grandfather. While at the same time glorying in his own mother and his maternal grandfather. He likely would have wanted to emphasis how the Dudleys were always supporters of the Tudors, rather than the opposite.
