It all began while I was stationed in South Korea. I had always been a “fan” of the Classic Mini and at the time I owned a 2013 MINI Cooper S Countryman All4. Now you must understand that I have a great obsession with lineage, and during this point in time I was deep in research with my own lineage, when I decided to take a break, and realized that MINI used to be Mini at some point in time. Curious to find out the “when” and “how”, I immersed myself into all things MINI/Mini. This research hooked me and I started searching for a classic Mini of my own. Little did I know that just across the Sea of Japan, was a country filled with Rover Minis. I purchased and imported my first Mini that year. A 1991 Rover Mini Mayfair II (Frankenstein). I decided the first time I drove him, that everyone in the US should feel this happy. The idea for the Mini Factory was born......
