               Biting her lower lip, Liv looks at Major, dead-heart pounding inside of her chest like there was blood flowing through her again. “Are you asking or providing?” She asks, even though she’s sure it makes no sense. Carol smiled over at Nancy once they were inside the shopping complex where they planned to spend the day. “So... are we here for business or just pleasure?” It was her way of asking if Nancy was shopping for anything specific today. As far as Carol knew there were no big events coming up so they would probably just be window shopping for entertainment and shelter from the cold fall air.

               She had been so lost in running her fingers through Major’s hair, that she had almost not even heard him the first time around. Running her fingers through his hair, feeling the softness of his locks, Liv could imagine the two of them during a different time and a different place, when there was next to nothing hidden between them. She wished she could go back to that time, but she knew it wasn’t a possibility, even if it was nice to imagine. But hearing Major brought her back down immediately, and even though she had a small smile on her face, Liv ached, and she ached in a way she hadn’t ached in quite a while. Because only Major could make her feel this way, she thinks to herself, fingers still locked through Major’s hair.

     “Well, it'll work thistime.”

     Repetition was key, some wouldsay.

     He knew he said it a lot with the earlyprototypes, some of which he could admit he pushed into testing alittle too quickly. This wasn't exactly his field of expertise,he had been a middle manager of all things, not aweapons manufacturer or anybody who tested them. Still, that's whatsold on Pandora and he knew Atlas had to start somewhere.

     Honestly, he was more at home in thedome, but he couldn't afford to focus his attention at this point.Still, he shot her a look over his shoulder at her skepticism, butcontinued to lead her down the hallway toward where the gun inquestion lay.

     “I mean, I took yoursuggestions on board, so...” he teased, knowing full well that hehad a skill in messing up anything he got his hands on, but he had agood feeling about this one.
