Hi LT, I ordered two things from F+F in late September and it still says that the items have be "ordered". Now I know that for made to order stuff it's a little wait, but the items I ordered were pre-made? Should I be worried?

I would definitely send them an email about it. If the items said instant shipping you should have gotten them less than two weeks after ordering. Even items that you were having custom made shouldn't have taken them this long though.

Hello LT, soI ordered a few items from F+F's pre-made/instant shipping items in (late) November. I had hoped for them to ship and arrive in early December but looking back at the invoice they are still on order. Does it normally take so long to ship pre-made item from F+F? Should I try to contact them? Any advice would be lovely.

It definitely shouldn't take that long. I just ordered instant shipping items for the charity event and they got to me a little over a week later. I would definitely contact them about it.

Hi LT, I'm kind of in a pickle. I thinking of doing Tia Dalma/Calypso from Pirates of the Caribbean inspired cood but I'm not really sure where would be a good place to look for the dress or if I should try to make/commission it. Any ideas from you or fellow followers?

I think rather than a dress it would be better to do a skirt and top since there are so many different colors going on. I would do and underskirt with an overskirt that you can tie up to show the color/pattern of the underskirt and then a blouse with a fitted bodice. Then you could do some layering with some lace pieces like a lace wrap or bolero and things like that. I think using separate pieces like that will be easier and it'll give you more things that you can take apart and use in the future.
