;; this is that one headcanon accepted meme, but since my dear friend @vintersang sent in one for each of the Holy Quintet, I decided to move them all here for ease of access.
See below the cut!
🧠 for Madoka—
Madoka likes Lolita fashion, but is unable to wear said clothes out in public due to a heavy amount of insecurity, so she pours all her desires into sketching whenever she can. Her enjoyment of the Lolita fashion culture is how Madoka ultimately came up with designing her magical girl outfit in her sketchbook, but with her own twists that turn her outfit into her own creation. She specifically enjoys the Sweet Lolita type, maybe even the Hime type. In order to try to help her daughter feel more comfortable while still expanding her wardrobe like any young lady should, the ever-stylish Junko suggested going for the Casual Lolita.
🧠 for Sayaka—
While Madoka prefers simple ribbons for her hair, Sayaka has a collection of hairpins for every single occasion. Since they have grown up with each other so closely, Madoka only enables Sayaka's interest in hairpins. In the beginning of their friendship, Sayaka liked to wear floral hairpins. Madoka naturally helped with this, but secretly enlisted the help of Hitomi and her elegant fashion taste; she only wanted the best for her best friend, so both Madoka and Hitomi (with the gentle encouragement of an excited Junko) made a pact to keep helping Sayaka. As they grew older, anyone with a keen eye would notice that Sayaka liked to routinely cycle her hairpins depending on who is on her mind at the moment. The moment a crush for certain musician begins to form in her heart, she subconsciously picks up music-themed hairpins whenever she sees them on shopping trips. Once coming to terms with her love life and herself, she continues to wear the music-themed hairpins by acknowledging her love for music, not allowing an old crush to stop her from abandoning that part of herself.
🧠 for Homura—
In an attempt to cope with being trapped in an unforgiving cycle of failed timelines, Homura goes online to try to find solutions to cope. Naturally, there is no results to help her real crisis, so she has to pretend she is only feeling metaphorically trapped in a cycle. After scouring the internet, Homura discovers that picking up art can potentially help her feel better. With no real style of her own, Homura is temporarily lost in what to draw until she is hit with the beauty that is Madoka's art. In order to try to keep her mental health in check for the sake of her Soul Gem, she tries to replicate Madoka's art style as a coping mechanism; it also helps to keep her memory alive until the timeline resets. While she fails quite horribly in the beginning, it keeps her calm and happy.
As she grows distant from Madoka, her memory of Madoka's uplifting art begins to fade, so she eventually develops her own art style. She naturally begins to study the fundamentals during this art limbo stage. Homura quickly learns she takes an interest in figure studies since it allows her to observe the subject better and drink in all of their details. This skill allows her to become a better fighter against other magical girls, specifically making it so much easier for her to potentially locate their unique Soul Gems. She might be only focused with fighting witches, but she is smart enough to realize she has to be extra cautious of other magical girls.
🧠 for Kyoko—
Kyoko acts like she doesn't care about anyone but herself, so spotting her in various graveyards looks like she is attempting to wait and see if witches will blossom from the grief-stricken visitors. In reality, Kyoko is actually tending to neglected graves of mere strangers. When she isn't lurking around in food places or dancing at the arcade, you can easily find her at any local cemetery. When taking care of a gravestone, she tends to subconsciously gravitate towards the graves of children and babies due to her longing to make her little sister Momo be proud of her. Due to her lack of money, Kyoko chooses to clean up graves by making sure the offerings are not disturbed, attempting to restore any neglected gravestones, and making sure the environment around her chosen gravestone is not littered with trash or the target of graffiti.
On the note of offerings, Kyoko is tempted to steal food offerings when her hunger gets too strong, but ultimately tries to leave them alone out of respect for the dead. Unless she is on the brink of passing out from hunger, she will not steal food offerings for the dead. The living? Oh, screw them and their wasteful asses, she will happily steal food from them.
If she catches someone vandalizing any gravestone at night, she will not hesitate to beat the crap out of them. Witches and familiars (and the occasional magical girl) are not her only target, after all. She sometimes likes to sleep in cemeteries since the good ones are normally peaceful, but she often chooses to go back to her family's old church since her heart keeps tugging her back to her past. If she is unable to reach her family's church, then she will easily pick a graveyard as a spot to sleep. If the weather is bad, she will simply choose to pick the best-looking abandoned building and break inside. With that said, she likes to hide her stashes of snacks in various abandoned buildings. Grief seeds are normally hidden extra well, so good luck with trying to find them.
🧠 for Mami—
Everyone who knows Mami Tomoe can tell she loves to bake and throw tea parties, but not many people are aware of her other interest. Since the death of both her parents, Mami picks up the art of sewing to save money. While knitting and crocheting are preserved for lonely winter days, she discovers she likes to sew the most. On her free days, she likes to browse antique stores to look for abandoned clothes that sparkle joy in her heart and saves them. Depending on the state of said clothing, she carefully rips them apart to either save them or use them for her latest sewing project. Learning to be resourceful of what she has from her time with Kyoko, she keeps every single scrap in her neat storage to pull out whenever it's time to shine presents itself. As a result, her outfits outside of her school uniform look heavily stylized to fit her style as well as her body. All her great fashion taste does not come from a source of wealth, but rather from her skill to look for forgotten treasures.
While she is hunting for more clothes to use for sewing projects, she also likes to look for antique cookbooks as a way to keep someone else's favorite recipes alive and loved. No matter how old the cookbook is, she will snatch it up without any hesitation. She has a special preference for ones with handwritten notes since it helps her feel more connected with someone else, even if that person is dead. When she is older, Mami donates her handmade clothes to orphanages and homeless shelters. Whenever natural disasters hit in Japan, she likes to try to volunteer to feed the hungry as well as try to give them her collection of knitted creations. During breaks in school, Mami picks up the art of embroidery as a way to make easy yet tasteful gifts for potential magical girls as a heartwarming gift to avoid conflict.
;; basically, I accept all of these as good headcanons! Madoka being into lolita fashion makes a lot of sense, and her outfits in promo art are very similar. I'm a sucker for making my muses artists like I am, so I definitely accept Homura as a budding artist too.

AAHHHH (about 14 years later) THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I adore your Elsa too! Your writing is incredible, and I still think about and chuckle at the chocolate starter from time to time. I would love to see more of you on my dash, and I hope we can continue to write and shape Kuzco and Elsa's relationship in the new year! I consider the chocolate starter canon, btw. That's never not going to be hilarious AND fact.
But seriously, thank you so much, honey. This really made me smile, and I appreciate your support more than I can put into words. : )
I know this is an organization, not a character, but… The Wings of the Magus. (Magical Girl Cult? Yes freaking please!)
If you only want a character, let’s go with Holy Mami. 💛
Send me a character’s name and my muse will tell how they feel about them
"The, ah, Wings of the Magius. They were before my time. A selfish group. They promised salvation but only for Magical Girls. Their sense of self-importance was staggeringly pathetic."
Noriko waits a beat. A small smile curls from her lips.
"Oh, are you surprised? Thought I would agree with their methods, or intentions, or goals? No, no. They were wrong. Any kind of salvation needs to come for all of life. It was never going to be possible with Light Magic. Witches, Doppels, Rumors. Products of a power that can never be contained for long."
She waves her hand in a dismissive fashion. Clearly, this "Wings of Magius" was beneath her.
"Children in the sandbox thinking they understand how all of creation works. They were woefully naïve. I'm glad they were stopped."
I really admire her. I doubt it's easy for a queen to manage all that she does but still keep a somewhat childlike ambience to herself that she indulges in from time to time. She deserves it, more than anyone else I know - I like to think I can read people pretty well and from the stories she's told me and the look behind her eyes, she's healed from the time that used to haunt her. I hope one day.. I can finally reach that for myself too.
