ok wait i have more vinyl questions !! what’s the record(s) you want the most of all? are there any discographies you want to complete?

100% i want to complete fobs discography. i plan to get the boxset at some point, but id also like to get the variants. the blue and white splatter in clear variant of ioh was like the thing that got me into record collecting so if really like to own that some day.

i think my white whale atm is the camo tttyg record with the girl in bed cover. any copy of the girl in bed cover would be really cool though. also, truant wave. would love to own that on wax.

this is making me realise i havent touched discogs in soo long omg i used to basiy live there.

yeah actually specifically paramores aint it fun lmao. i also really like the cupids chokehold diecut/picture disc record and theres a rsd pressing of africa by toto thats on a record shaped like africa that i cannot stop thinking about.

what was the first vinyl record u got? I also wanna get a vinyl record and a record player so badly put they're both so expensive and seem so fragile

they are, in fact, expensive and fragile. it is a horribly inconvenient hobby that i love so much.

my first record was actually soul punk! it was a gift from someone online, and i treasure it. most of my records so far have been gifts, but the first one i bought myself was we live here.

Omg vinyl <3 after hurricane ian the record store had to throw out a lot of stuff that was still functional but damaged sleeves and I picked out everything that looked cool.

It was a weird experience. All of downtown was completely destroyed. We were having a food drive at the bar we hung out at. Most of the street lights werent even working, debris lined the roads. And we were pickin records out of a dumpster pile

I pulled this and it felt too on the nose

how many records are in your collection & how long have you been collecting for?

this is gonna sound so fucking pathetic. 4 records and ive been collecting for like 7 years. records are expensive and we dont have any record stores (that i know of) in st lucia so i gotta order them online. which is even more expensive. and yk, weaker currency and all that. i cant get records that often. it was actually very financially irresponsible of me to just buy smfs on a whim especially since i wasnt employed but i HAD to have it.

mania by fall out boy (lavender press- which i regret. i wish i got the blue red swirl. its scuffed pretty badly so i want to get a new copy)
