Rant about why i personally (<-emphasis) dislike Fujieda. SPOILERS!
While people say the rape scene is ooc, I'd argue it's not entirely. Most of the route, Fujieda disregards Towa's experience and clear deterioration throughout his search in remembering his past.
Fujieda only seeks out Towa for his own personal gain of finding out the truth about Mei, while not caring about Towa's distress. His hate towards Towa as a person who sleeps around is justified, given his own past, but his disregard towards Towa's mental decline is prominent and just blatantly disgusting to me.
He sees Towa as the scum on the earth, and treats him hardly like he's a person at all. He projects every frustration he has on Towa, blames it all on him and relieves himself of his own stress by using Towa when hes clearly in a poor state.
He deems this revenge because "people like Towa" don't deserve the mercy of death, when in reality, to me, this is just him punishing someone who he needs to place blame on to feel better about himself. To make himself feel like he's making "justice".
I understand Fujieda himself was in a bad place mentally, but his reasoning for even doing what he did was just dumb, felt like a sorry excuse to not take accountability.
Not to mention, Fujieda outright REFUSING to apologise pissed me off. so bad. He's never apologised as far as I've seen, not even after the truth came to light.
Another thing that irritated me, when Towa tries to kill himself, Fujieda's reasoning for why he shouldn't is because it wouldn't be fair to HIS sister and because death is the easy way out.
To me, it seems that even their chemistry is off, feels like no reason for them to be together other than simply trauma bonding.
To answer the question "Why do you like Madarame then?" is simple. Madarame has a theme of showing ehat he wants bluntly.
He's never tip toed around the truth, he's been an asshole from the start and he's owned it. Madarame is genuinely bad for Towa, in the way that they're both two fucked up people bringing the worst out of eachother. But, they WORK!
They have a good dynamic and interesting history, and while I in no way think it's healthy, I find the dynamic interesting.
Fujieda frustrated me, because he acts like a loving man, but has never taken accountability for the bullshit he's done to Towa, whereas Madarame is at least aware and is an asshole to my face.
