Being so far removed from a fandom you used to be in and then seeing a tag for that fandom in the wild can really send a girl running away from her own phone.

It is a blessing to have two wonderful creatures in my home who enjoy sewing time and playing under my pattern pieces and fabric.

I just wish they would watch when I cut out the fabric pieces, instead of watching for a little bit, then getting excited and attacking both me and the fabric.

One of the fun things about putting together a "mood board" for my life-changing hair cut and hair dye on my 30th birthday, is looking at the pictures I've collected and saying out loud "But am I cool enough for this hair style? Am I cool enough to dye my hair this color I've wanted since Animal Crossing New Horizons (it's important to my personal growth) came out?"

At what point do I take money out of my savings account, go get pink hair dye, and set up an appointment to get my hair done?

At what point?

August. Birthday present for me, go from blonde to dusty pink? I’ve been threatening to do this for years. I should just do it. How do we even get the dusty pink I want? Do I buy a box? Does the hairdresser have everything and know how to do it? I would assume so?

Guess I should find out.

I’ll have my tattoo designed by then, too. Sort of. I have to, otherwise I’m not allowed to get it (self imposed rule, I’ll keep putting it off). Hair, done. Tattoo done within a few months of that. Or tattoos? I have two in mind, but… maybe starting with one is best.
