A lovely question! My favorite element is more Discomfort than straight-up pain. I like when there is squirming and whining more than flat-out screaming :] But screams are good too! And a look of fear in someone's eyes, for any reason, is a pleasure to see. It's about the fun responses!
Some examples aside from obvious stuff like impact play… Primal play, like chasing someone down. Orgasm control and overstim. Humiliation and brat taming. I have some weirder examples i'll save for answering the next question in my inbox :P
As far as Conceptual sadism… I'd be into way harder stuff if it was less permanent 😔 I like exploring Temporary pain, not killing people. I Wish I could take someone apart, piece by piece, and put them back together perfectly fine. This is why I love robots and plushies so much. Perfect for that.
