Craig Bell might be best known as an original member of Rocket From The Tombs from a couple hundred years ago, but he wrote some of the best post-Loaded lonely heart stoppers since Hackamore Brick for his Connecticut based bands of the late 70′s and 80′s, many of which are included in this first ever long playing vinyl comp as leader of Saucers, the Bell System and others. It’s an amazing body of work, much of which he’ll be touring during the upcoming days, starting with Friday 9/9/16 at Alphaville in Brooklyn [also playing in Bklyn and Philly: FRR fave Stefan Christensen!]. Not sure how Mr. @ever-never-records keeps bankrolling this stuff, but he does. Let’s give thank$.
