I was tagged by the lovely Sara
Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them.
So...here we go then! In no particular order:
Jane Eyre - Charlotte Brontë
Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen
Northanger Abbey - Jane Austen
The Scarlet Pimpernel - Emmuska Orczy
Narnia (all of them) - C.S. Lewis
Harry Potter (again all of them - that counts as one, right?) - J.K. Rowling
Which Witch? - Eva Ibbotson
Stardust - Neil Gaiman
Good Omens - Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett
And then (I know, not a novel, but it does say books, not novels) just all the fairy tales. Especially by H.C. Andersen, but also the brothers Grimm and generally folk tales. I love fairy tales of all kinds.
