8: Paperback or hardcover? Why?
Hardcover because those editions are usually prettier, especially the books cover and the illustrations and made in better quality (they last longer). Though the price usually hurts too.
18: Which character from a book is the most like you?
That’s a very hard question because i rarely nowadays relate to a fictional character like i used to when i was younger. I would say among the last “novels” i read, it’s certainly Bernardo Soares, the heteronym invented by Fernando Pessoa to be the ”fake”” author of the Book of Disquiet. A man unable to live as if he missed some essential quality to belong and act in this world, mostly lost in the contemplation of Life and of his own feelings and thoughts.
28: How many books have you read so far this year?
Only 12 sadly! I’m far behind my challenge on Goodreads….
9 fiction books, 2 essays and one graphic novel.
38: What language do you (most often) read in?
French for fiction and non fiction books.
English for articles from newsmedia.
48: Where is your favorite place to read?
My bed. Nothing can beat the pleasure to be comfortably settled in my bed, at night, with a good book.
