Oh. This must be about one of those alternates out there somewhere. Why is it so many of them ended up defecting? Going Maverick? Is it just bad luck with the virus? Or something more...?

...at this point he's starting to wonder if he's capable of it too.

He never had learned the circumstances behind any of their betrayals, and part of him didn't want to.

What a uneasy feeling.
