Crowds. He hated crowds.

He always had, from when he was young to when he was an adult, from the jam-packed streets of his home city to the cramped local airports he'd spent so much time waiting at. Raphael's point of view was simple: the less body contact, the better.

Except that now, when he had the option to completely avoid any physical contact at all, he didn't take that chance.

Because when you spoke about mechanics, assassins, guns for hire - whatever you called them - some might say the best of them were like ghosts. They left no trace, they got into every good spot, they just appear and disappear like they didn't really exist. Which already explained why this was a job practically made for Raphael. Considering he wasn't just like a ghost, but literally a ghost.

And having spend his whole life doing almost exactly the same thing probably helped, too. Perfect conditions to make a lot of money after death.

If people knew how rewarding death was, maybe they'd be less scared of it. Not that the man himself would have expected this, of course. He had never believed in the supernatural, none of it, and he'd been fine with doing the best he could during his lifetime - and when it's his time to go, he'll go.

Except when the time really came, he didn't. For some reason he hadn't gone anywhere, still stuck in the same hellhole he could vividly remember dying in.  Yeah. He could remember 'dying'. That probably already said it all, too.

Yet, the absurdity of his life - and now death, too - didn't really touch him anymore. Like they had told him as a boy, he's responsible for his own actions, and if mess with more than you can handle, something is bound to happen. He had nobody to blame but himself, anyway.

By now, three years had passed since his death, and he'd made a new life for himself. One with no name or face, he was a real ghost pretending to be a human who was nicknamed a ghost by other humans. It was actually quite interesting. And if he was honest, it was fun, too.

After the months of getting used to, then the months of trying to make a new physical body to interact with humans with, the possibilities he was given were... almost endless.  No fence, door, or wall could keep him out anymore. Even the best lock was useless if someone could just pass through the door and open it from the inside. He could literally disappear, not only from sight, no, from everything. Sounds, heat signatures, a ghost had no such things.

Slowly he had become aware how fitting it was to call top class assassins 'ghosts' - a ghost really was the perfect candidate to get the job done. It had never been easier to stage an accident, either. Being able to influence - or possess - objects or even people, something humans only dreamed of.

Actually, being a ghost made everything so easy that he'd decided to not use those powers unless it seemed really necessary to protect his identity. Even after dying, he still liked the thrill - although there was no real danger for him anymore.

He never met any client in person, in fact, whenever he had to meet anyone, he usually possessed a random human, never using a face twice. It was the perfect farce, and he produced perfect results.

Soon enough, Raphael, after just a few years of being dead, would be richer than he had been after decades of being alive.

One thing that hadn't changed, however, was that he had absolutely no use for all of that money. The only time he really needed it was for traveling, going to where the job sent him, and rarely going somewhere simply because he wanted to.

Japan, for example. He'd never have come here on his own. Everyone was tiny, the doors were tiny, the streets were full of tiny people that were too close to him, especially when waiting to cross a road. The streets were already cramped enough as it is, your only choice was to stop and move with the mass and hope it'd get you where you wanted eventually.

And a mass was really all he saw from his perspective. A mass of heads, most of them black-haired, it was almost surreal. Then again, he must seem surreal to them, too, the way they tended to stare at him. He was like a giant in their tiny world.

Speaking of tiny, the woman walking immediately in front of him was quite a short one, too. In fact, he had to keep his gaze down to even keep her in his field of view and try to avoid just walking into her back.

Which worked well for a while, until a crashing noise from inside the café he was passing caused him to turn and look over - like most other people around him did, too. Something some other people also did, was stop walking to see what had happened. And in a jammed spot like this, if a few stopped walking, almost everyone had to stop walking.

Except Raphael, who moved on because he didn't care enough to keep staring, but also had kept a distance to the people in front of him. Said distance, however, was already closed with a single step of his, and only the moment he turned to look ahead again he noticed everyone in front had stopped walking in a massive jam.

It was to late to stop moving - thank physics for the law of inertia - so the startled reflex reaction that he showed in that very moment of 'oh shit' was.. to disappear. Only for a moment, of course, since he couldn't just vanish in the middle of the street, but.. long enough for the hand he'd lifted against the woman's back to prevent himself from fully running into her to kinda.. just go into her. Right trough, between her shoulder blades.

And then he 'reappeared'. With his physical arm still in her body.

Well.

This is a first.

General Appearance: Black hair, dark purple irises that change when in resonate form to black sclera’s and red irises

Personality: Rebellious, sharp tongued, aggressive, spoiled and proud

Special Talents: Like his father he’s a rather skilled fighter and gunner, however just like his mother he knows how to wear his strength on the outside

Who they like better: Lilli, because she would show affection far sooner than Fuji would

Who they take after more: Fuji, out of desperation to hear Fuji say he’s proud. Katsu would soon take place in the ranks of their organization and would like his father work as a gunner

Personal Head canon: Once as a kid he witnessed Fuji losing his cool against someone who threatened Lilli and him, because of what he saw Fuji turn into there is a certain aspect of fear within Katsuro. But that was soon overruled by the sight of Fuji being able to calm down when Lilli did as little as touch him. Now he works to become as strong and protective as his father.
