Ok... let’s break this down:
1) No one is illegal. Calling them “illegals” dehumanizes them and opens up the door to allowing them to be extremely mistreated. Them coming here, often seeking sanctuary, is a misdemeanor at worst. There are also many reasons why someone becomes undocumented. Some came here for college or for work, but they weren’t able to renew their green card for instance. 2) Many undocumented immigrants DO in fact pay taxes. (x) “most taking jobs for penies an hour which SCREWS EVERYONE HERE” Ok, so you’re telling me that because they come here, eager for work, and EMPLOYERS don’t want to pay them a fair wage that it is somehow THEIR fault for poor wages and not the fault of the employers? Is that seriously something you are complaining about? You said yourself, these people are earning pennies, are being exploited by the “free market” so that they can have a chance at a better life, and try to give their families a better life.... which IS the whole CONCEPT of the AMERICAN DREAM and you SCOFF at them and degrade them? You want to know who else sends their money elsewhere in much larger quantities? The rich. At least 21 TRILLION dollars is hoarded off shore by the rich and you want to be mad at the poor? Also, while I’m at it.... there are PLENTY of farms out there where food is currently rotting because these farms refuse to pay their farm hands livable wages and due to mass deportation, there’s less people willing to work those jobs. Why don’t you go take one of those farm jobs? Why don’t you bus tables or clean hotel rooms? Are they not good enough jobs for you?
