"I see dead people" It's because you're dead, dipshit.
Sprawled out across her bedroom floor, he hasn't moved much in the past hour. He doesn't much feel like moving, he doesn't feel like doing anything at all. Underneath his breath, he'll hum a low tune, along the chords of You Are My Sunshine, tapping fingers against his chest as he stares up at the ceiling; he's surprised that not a single specter has tried to bother him yet --- not even one.
Refuge, she doesn't plan on staying but her heart beat is rising---she dove into the first place that wouldn't require an explanation. But she saw him. She saw him.

"Whats up? Do you uh normally sit here?"
{An Unsuspecting Love - Titanic AU}
Tate Langdon scrambled through the crowds of people that were exchanging hugs and kisses to their loved ones before they left for sea, desperate to get a place for himself aboard ship. The boy didn't have his own family to say his goodbyes to -- so he hurried to his place before it was too late.
All of Tate's life, he'd been poor. Now finally coming into some money, he decided he wanted to see parts of the world he'd never seen -- a once in a lifetime opportunity. The lad was adventurous, taking any chance he got to do something new. Not only that, but he was an aspiring artist, and having new scenery would be sure to spark inspiration.
As others trudged multiple large bags onto deck, the scrawny boy held only a single bag, which happened to be clutched to his chest. Finally landing eyes on the man he owed the money, he slapped the due amount in his hand, and grabbed the ticket with his dorm number in exchange. His heart was racing a mile a minute as he aimlessly hurried about, scanning the numbers on the dorms until he came to his own.
Practically bursting through the door, Tate let his bag fall to the floor as he took a look around. Sure, it was small, but it was one of the most beautiful rooms he'd seen in his entire life. So, he began his journey without hesitation.
Closing the door behind him, he unpacked his small amount of belongings in the dresser provided. After doing so, he noticed a note atop of the wooden structure. It told of the ship's rules -- common knowledge -- but it also explained that he'd have two other room mates. It was printed in large letters, "Prepare, Sir/Madame. Your room mates are that of a high ranking status." Tate shrugged, and offered a chuckle. It wasn't a surprise his room mates were that of a "high ranking status" as they called it. Over half of those aboard were wealthy and popular -- whereas he was just a commoner who came from rags.
Just as Tate began to undress -- he heard the door knob turn. Open its opening, it revealed a beautiful young lady. It was as if the world had stopped spinning, that is -- until a man who appeared to be her lover followed shortly behind her. Quickly blinking away his trance, he cleared his throat and offered his hand to each of them. "Good day. My name is Tate. Tate Langdon. Nice to meet you." With his greeting, he immediately began to re-button those on his shirt that he had already managed to undo. It wasn't of manners to undress in front of a lady, let alone with her fiancee close by her side. For now, be brushed it off, and turned his back to mind his own business. He slipped his shoes back on, and headed for the door -- turning to give the couple that stand inside a smile before exiting to the main deck.
The ship was now making it departure, and instead of literal ocean waves around the ship -- there were waves coming from human hands to signal their goodbyes. The view after departing from land, how ever, was stunning - especially for an artist. Tate thought of one thing, and one thing only. His sketch pad, pencil, and charcoal set. As he began to make his way back to the room, he smiled on the thought of when he first got his art bundle. He'd worked long, hard days to earn enough money to afford it -- it truly paid off in the end. Art was his life.
Opening the door to his dorm, he stepped inside -- yet again offering a simple 'how do you do' to the couple, and retrieved his art set. After locating it, he sprawled the contents across his cot, and took a seat. Without further word to the couple, he began drawing -- but it wasn't the scenery that he truly desired to draw -- no. It was the woman sitting across the room. Her beauty was elegant, unlike any other.
So of course, without her knowledge, he began to create a faint outline of her. If they'd ask, he'd just tell them it was a woman he'd created in his head. Besides, there wouldn't be enough detail to make out that it was actually the girl whom already had her heart take that sit across from him.
At least -- he though -- this will be a trip to remember.

"Who are you?" He doesn't remember leaving the door open, so her presence startles him. He'd been sitting on the roof, legs dangling over the side as he cursed all of his afflictions and wished he'd been able to dissolve into the sunset. The house was empty, big, alone. It had been just what he'd needed. But now there was this girl, and that isolation was momentarily gone.
"And how did you get in here?"
