Btw I completed cult of the lamb finally! Here’s some thoughts and insights to it:

I did the purgatory row achievement with the easiest cape (imo), which was the blue hearts fleece. I REEEALLY tried with the berserker one, but Kallamar is such a pain for me to do no-hit… Maybe one day, I’m not giving up! Berserker fleece is really fun to do if you want a challenge, I think I might try to do base game with it when I unlock it on the new save file (because yes - the second I obtained 100% completion I started another save file - this time purely for a cult with my ocs names! The one I had DID have them, but they were clashing with the normal, auto-generated names cuz I didnt care at the time)

’Full flock’ was one of the last because it was one of those achievements I admit I had to look up on the wiki, same applies to the all outfits achievements. For Full flock - the last follower outfit for me was the one that would appear randomly in Berith’s shop after destroying props there. Somehow I just missed it AND I never truly knew you actually could destroy the stuff that surrounds the vendors! So the weird pink bug(?) follower form was the final addition to the pack. For the all outfits achievement - it was the one outfit you unlock after picking the same follower in the confession booth 5 times. When using it I mostly just focus on the highest level ones, so it would just shuffle between a few most of the time.

Obtain all lore achievement wasn’t that bad, though I did have to look up a few ones, but that was mostly because I simply missed them when playing casually. Postponed it a tinyyy bit because one time I didn’t have enough health to offer (I was at one heart only), so I had to wait for the next time the secret room would appear. Reading it was a bit interesting, but there’s not that much to it in my opinion.

I think the rest was done by just playing the game normally, I achieved the ’beat (insert main boss here) without taking damage’ by trying to complete purgatory with the berserker fleece lol

Extra: I played as The Goat, cuz I just like their aesthetic better for some reason (also cuz I like purple). I’m a bit sad you’re stuck as The Lamb in the purgatory and last main boss area, but then… The game’s called Cult of The Lamb, not Goat. So I guess fair. I didn’t use any fleeces on the normal crusades for some reason, I guess I just wasn’t bothered by it. I played the base game, with no DLCs. I didn’t really care for decorating, I’ll focus on it a bit more on the new save file :3

No, I didn’t feel guilty for giving up that little rat guy (I am evil)…

So yea, time to do the OC cult now!

I dont know why but the first time I played cotl the fact that the four bishops are literally damned to relive their last moments forever after we kill them for the first time until we get to them again to free them from that sort of purgatory just flew over my head-

Like I was like „oh cool we can now recruit them” and thats all I thought lol

Silksong is out and I’m having a blast with it, so I wanted to make my main oc - Violet in HK style. However, I got a little bit carried on and… Yep, it’s a completely new oc now.

I looked at so many hollow knight designs on pinterest for this…

Presenting version 0.0.1 (unfinished/test) version of my HOLLOW KNIGHT OC:

Kuraii, a.k.a the Night Wanderer!

They carry around lumaflies to light up their way, journal pages and a flute with themselves. As the title suggests, they only explore at night, day time is for resting and preparing for the next destination.

Could be considered as artstyle study, I guess?

Hey so what if Lamb looked different as a mortal and slowly changed their appearance with the whole „becoming new god of death” thing, slowly cutting off everything that connected them to their mortal body and desiring more and more, to the point Narinder started to be slightly worried that they might become worse than him in their hunger for more power, as they were kinda falling into being consumed by the new god powers-

Like a few phases: mortal, vessel of TOWW, infant god (base Lamb I guess?) and the „falling into the darkside of being a god” mode

My Lamb is called Loki, while Goat also goes by Thanatos (Than)

I do have to probably remake those two cuz Lamb’s drawing was actuallu unfinished and I don’t really like how Goat turned out in digital 😭

OKAY TRYING THIS AGAIN!!

Still a wip, but only the cloth pattern is left tbh

This is Lynn (name meaning - lake or waterfall), my Cult of the Lamb AU oc! She’s from the universe where Kallamar takes TOWW’s place (the prophecy says that when he’ll be freed - the whole world will be plagued by pestilence, before it gets flooded). He chooses Lynn because no one else is left (slayed by the Bishops)

-goes by they/she

-cult area with a pond that they can fish in but less room to utilize

-starts with 3 blue hearts. Red health doesnt spawn, instead the amount is doubled in blue hearts

-drawbacks: slower speed and weaker weapons, but better curses and relics

-cowardly, small chance she may refuse to do gluttony of cannibals or rite of wrath rituals (risk higher if there are followers with coward trait)

-covers ears during sacrifices, fight pits etc.

-has auditory problems, followers have to repeat requests sometimes

-taller than Lamb or Goat (but not super tall)

-Kallamar’s blessing (Call of the Sea) makes her immune to most sickness and able to breathe underwater.

-not immortal, just has a really long lifespan because of the Crown

-despite her cowardice being what she’s known for, she’s also patient and kind, she knows ways to heal followers and cook good meals with fish. Her determination becomes more evident when she’s pushed to the limit

I know that the more common name for this AU’s Lamb is probably Ewe, but…It’s not set in stone, right?

Oc relationship lore dump????#1 I guess

Mark and Darko (not really chronologically, this is actually their later relationship’s stage)

As much as they don’t want to admit, Mark and Darko can actually understand each other

- both come from rather dysfunctional families

- both were underestimated, ignored or tossed to the side in their childhoods, learning to isolate and not to talk about their real feelings (as it was just disregarded by others)

- both weren’t really taught how to properly love, so they got overly attached to their special ones

- they both now struggle with poor mental health

So as much as Mark doesn’t want to admit it, there is a mutual understanding between them, even though they certainly don’t show it. Mark definitely knows how it is to feel unwanted, wondering if anyone can truly love him. He knows how hard it can be to let go of the past, as it is (for both of them) most of the time the only way of experiencing stillness in their life, it’s comforting, easy, it’s just something they were used to. They both can’t handle uncertainty, change - fearing they’ll once again lose that little bit of peace they were able to find. That the cycle will repeat and they will be forgotten, abandoned again.

As much as Mark hates Darko’s cowardice, he still sees his struggles. It’s just that instead of passive distancing from it (like Darko’s sister does), he reacts with aggression, often harsh truth. Is that way better for Darko to realize his mistakes? Not always. It’s as flawed as his sister’s way. But Mark can certainly connect with Darko better than her, as he has experienced those similar moments in his life. He knows how it can feel. So even though they argue, fight and bicker on daily basis… When Darko was being overwhelmed, feeling alone and in the dark - Mark was the one who actively reached out to him and comforted him. Finally letting go of their immature rivalry when he saw just how much he is struggling - Mark saw a bit of himself in Darko and knew that he couldn’t just be a bystander, like Crystal was in that moment, uncertain of what to do.

(Guys should I keep this blog for random stuff and make another purely for oc stuff or keep this one mixed cuz idk 😔)
