This is random but have you found violette_royale’s works? I just realised they deleted everything ><

YEAAAAH... looks like violette_royale did a big purge :/ It's always kind of a bummer when this happens. Makes me appreciate ao3's "download" feature.

Let this be a lesson, folks: if there's fanfics you're in love with, go download the zip file of them right now through AO3. Get a OneDrive account or something. The internet is forever, and also impermanent.

It looks like lots of their Merlin fics are still up, but orphaned. These can be found in the violette_royale tumblr tag.

But of course, you're probably here for Thistledown, which they have fully scrubbed from the internet. It's bad to speculate, but given the quality of the work, I suspect they're pulling an E.L. James and querying it to publishers with altered names. I've seen it happen in the h*tl*a fandom. If any fanfic deserves it, it's DEFINITELY that one. Fingers crossed for them!

There are two threads on Livejournal right now dealing with this fic, but you will need to leave a personal email. Both of which have been updated within the past 2 years -- young in internet time. You might have a shot. I might go leave my email address and pray, too. HAHA

Or the one where pretty everyone knows that Arthur knows of Merlin's magic and that Arthur has a baby dragon in his chambers (except Merlin), Gwen is a plotting hussy, Leon has a particular horror of dragons (even tiny ones), Gwaine is a cheeky sod, Aithusa truly fails at sonnets, Merlin is clueless and a little heartbroken and Arthur is heartbroken and a little clueless.

Written for this KMM prompt: The baby dragon doesn't want to leave. It makes a nest in the bottom of one of Arthur's cupboards. Arthur doesn't have the heart to kill it, especially after it starts to talk. Arthur has to hide it from Merlin in hilarious and convoluted ways.
