I was so disappointed to see her leaving the victorian industrial sound and aesthetic for this broadway musical stuff. I dislike musicals so much I wish she's give us the heavy metal album she wanted to record after Opheliac. Whatever makes her happy though.

The reason why we are all sticking around is because there was nothing else like her. Her aesthetic, music, her style, her world, everything was so unique and amazing. We're holding onto something that isn't there anymore... even she will never be like she used to be. I just wish there would be another creative and unique goth/industrial singer like her like we used to have!

I wish Emilie would compose a new classical or violindustrial album and at least hire other musicians to play it if she can't herself. I'm so done with the Asylum and she is too, she just won't give it up even when it's so clear mentally she's moved on as much as everyone else.

I ACTUALLY HATED that new piece of music she shared. TBH since flag this isn't the EA I fell in love with. More and more she is moving away from "violindustrial" and "victoriandustrial" as she called it and honestly I am not liking it. If her music is going to sound like this and flag from now on, yup I am not sticking around and this is a total bummer because I used to love her style. Now as people have pointed out she sounds like other people but used to have her own characteristic sound.
