I kinda like the idea of angel!Crowley introducing himself to Azirafell as "Crowley" instead of "Raphael" because he didn't want Azirafell to think of him differently for being an archangel... Meanwhile Azirafell just named himself a bastardized pun version of his angel name as a spit in Heaven's face.

Yeah this is exactly what I was thinking of; I’ve had some people questioning why he would hide it from Azirafell (or w/e). Would you approach someone who could sneeze and instantly incinerate you? Nah son.

Crowley (I think actually if he were and Angel, given Crowley devolved from Crawley, he’d just go by Anthony bc why not)- Anthony- would hide it from him because it’s not necessary and then that would blow up in his face later

so every time i enter a new fandom my mind automatically finds its way to Role Reversal AU, and so when i saw your post about Aziraphale's car I had the image of Hastur and Ligur being like "Where is that prissy bastard" and we hear "Mamma mia! Here I go again!" as demon!Aziraphale drives into frame in his sensible fuel efficient prius. There's a whole 60k fic blooming in my mind as we speak.

I was reading your authors commentary.. “That might be something to bond over later on! Shimada’s gay!” Is that why McCree later said that he was once a skinny twink in front of Hanzo? Lol. Also I’m glad the fact that Hanzo’s gay is kind of a surprise to him because in many other fics, unrealistically, everyone is gay or bi and it’s more out of the ordinary to be straight. Which is nice for representation I guess but it just doesn’t feel believable.

Well, it was Fareeha who called McCree a skinny twink first--but he did repeat it just in case Hanzo thought Fareeha meant it as an insult rather than an affectionate reminder born out of shared history. He hadn’t really planned on playing the LGBT+ Solidarity card with Hanzo quite yet since he didn’t really know where Hanzo stood, but he took the opportunity since there were two other members of the community there, plus Lena in the Orca.

And yes, since Afterdrop is meant to be slightly more realistic, I’m not going with the “Everyone is Gay” trope--as much as I’d like to. The sentence “He [Reinhardt] is 100% straight” killed me to write, because I like wish fulfillment as much as anyone and I can only wish for such a man.

But a lot of Hanzo and McCree’s backstories in the fic are based on a more realistic proportion of LGBT+ people and how that affects us.

But when I say a realistic proportion, it means I’m gonna take great pleasure in having far more LGBT+ people than most people are willing to admit exist.

About DAYTHREE... as we know the background color has 666 in it, and in that update, Max talks about Scene going through 'the effects of Limbo on an angel.' Maybe the effects of Limbo on an angel is being turned into a demon? Since demons are fallen angels. Maybe Max is still fighting Limbo's effects, but Scene let it take over, let it turn them into a demon?

its possible. its clear “limbo” in this story is not the limbo in christian mythos so we dont really know what rules it operates under. that might be whats happening

this ARG has been strangely absent of references to demons until this point, maybe this is letting us know we have all the more reason we need TELEPORTATION before its too late for max
