Vira showed up at Anton’s door dressed in her latest; caroling gear, she had been told it was called. The humans have this tradition this time of year, singing door to door the songs of the season. She learned a few! Some of them were quite - confusing. No. Most were confusing to Vira, who knew little of the season.
But she’d focused on one song, and practiced it until she couldn’t get it wrong, no matter how long or high the notes were. And when Anton answered the knock? She began to sing.
