       after her moment’s reprieve, sarai gives a deep, ill-composed sigh.❛ alright, let’s go again — though i won’t apologize for stepping on your feet again, you signed up for that when you asked me to dance. ❜ she takes viren’s offered hand, clearing head when a hand comes to rest cordially at her waist.❛ when you told me you were going to teach me to dance, i assumed i’d be dancing with harrow, ❜ the queen teases, basking in any fluster she might gain,❛ i bet he just doesn’t want to sacrifice his toes to my heels. ❜ which was another thing. not only did she have to dance, but she had to do so in heels — if only amaya could see her now. ❛ i still say it’d be much easier for the two of you to dance together, since you both already know how to dance. you don’t know how much i’d pay to see that. ❜

the bafflement of the posted guards followed him as he swept into the king's room. viren didn’t need to personally wake harrow. he certainly didn’t have a habit of intruding in the past when the queen still lived. somehow it wasn't intimidating to walk to the heavy curtains and pull them back now. strange, the creation & fluctuation of boundaries over time. pip roused quicker than its owner, prompting a pointed glance. ‘... the council requests that you /don’t/ bring pip to today’s meeting.’

He hates waking to the sun in his eyes.

He also hates waking to immediate business, meetings and arrangements by people who only want to speak of war, endless, tiring war. There’s a moment where he contemplates simply sinking back into his blankets, huddled for warmth under the layers. How far would he get with that, really, before Viren would force him up from bed and into the great hall with the diplomats and advisors without even letting him dress properly? The thought of that happening - of showing up in his nightclothes, eyes barely open - was amusing, in itself, but ultimately not the best of ideas. Respect only goes so far, even for a king.

Instead of doing what he wants, he rolls over and lets out a groan, opening his eyes to glare at his high mage. Anger isn’t the emotion behind his eyes, but the way his eyebrows knit together may make it seem that way. Truly, what he feels is gentle amusement at the entire situation.

“If Pip wants to come along, he’ll come along.” His hair falls into place over his back as he sits up, rubbing the heels of his palms into his eyes. “The council can deal with him just as they always do.”

‘As they always do’ being stares from wide-eyed leaders as the king melted into incoherent, babbling words to the bird on his shoulder.

   “Listen, dad before I go--I don’t know if I can take the Throne.” Knowing his father’s full intent. Sure, it would be after his father would no longer rule. But, if this plan goes through. He would never be able to get rid of this lingering guilt in his chest, “Maybe ask Claudia?”

   None specifically come to mind, but there are certain traditions that require items specific to the world of Kijonaia. There are many traditions in the world, but not that I believe wouldn’t work in the real world with a slight bit of tweaking.

    Eyes spare a wayward glance over her shoulder at the click of the door, the moment seeming to freeze as she looks between Viren and the mess she was currently cleaning. An awkward sort of half-laugh is caught on an exhale as she smooths out her dress and rises to face him.

    This is exactly what it looks like...

    “ There is no price I would not pay for my students, they deserve the best. ” Caslon muses, the pride is evident in her voice; they were all such bright young minds, and she relished every stride and stumble they made. Kindness ensured they remained passionate and not fall victim to frustration and spite.

    “ As for what happened—just a bit of potion-making gone awry, perfectly safe I assure you, just...reactive. ” Her face is still flushed from the exertion. And as if to answer his last question, one mop in busy in her hand with two more hovering nearby and cleaning away of their own accord.

i don’t really feel like there’s a correlation bt mun vibe and muse unless it’s like … easier to play muses closer to your vibe!

honestly  like !  idk . . . i  usually  feel  like  i  give  off  the  same  vibe  as  my  muse  from  blog  to  blog ?  or  at  least  give  a  vibe  that  relates  or  traces  back  somehow ,  even  w/  my  other  mercenary  chara ?  so  if  i  don’t  feel  that  i’m  giving  off  some  related  vibe  i  feel  insecure ??  most  of  the  muses  that  stick  with  me  have  been  closer  to  my  personality  or  charas  that  i  relate  to  more ,  and  it  just . . . worries  me  that  i’ll  lose  muse  for  ru.naan ,  y’know ??
