Considering that she didn’t need to make use of her physical form, she often sat out on it but many still reprimanded her for doing so since it was apparently important to strengthen both the body and mind -- and so forth and so on. So much NAGGING from Frederick especially ! She wasn’t in it to be the ideal soldier -- she just simply hoped to pull through this as much as she could. 

    Pushing all the TEDIOUS thoughts aside, she offered him a widened smile and settled herself right next to him. Since everyone else was busy with their own thing, he seemed like an EASY target to drag along. ❛ Say, isn’t it about time to take a break ? You’ve been working so hard after all ! What do you say we have some FUN together ? ❜

You don’t look so good.  ❞ Ever since yesterday, he noticed Alm briefly coughing here and there but he brushed it off since it didn’t seem to be much. Today however, he came out of his tent rather pale and even his coughing worsened but the other still attempted to keep his energy up. Right up until they began sparring.

The request was odd, no doubt about that, but the princess was eager to challenge her old friend. Now that they could freely interact, she wanted to take the opportunity while she had it. His skills with the sword were impressive to say the absolute least, but she wasn’t shabby either.

& now this life has daydreamed to fruition -- there is no more alternate world to throw herself into, no more glorifying the nonexistent future in efforts to escape the present. she’s choiceless in the matter of the world around her & unsure of how it sits emptily beneath her rib cage. there’s something so rewarding about the achievements, yet something so dull & aching, & she can’t put her finger on what. perhaps it’s that it’s over. what she’s supplied all of her hope & being into has been ripped from her, completed, & oh, how she falls like a dove with feathers that have been ripped from its wings. there’s them, though. & they all seem so joyful, so full of glee & newfound hope. she’s envious in a way, but not bitter. she’s happy for them -- she just wishes she could be one of them.

🍳 — cooking

Tana wants to be able to cook. She really, really does, but...she grew up a fairly spoiled princess in a very rich country with the bare minimum of strife compared to other parts of Magvel. She likely hadn’t needed to for years.   

Tanith canonically cannot cook, and once nearly killed important parts of the Begnion high command with her attempts to. 

Tiki spent an idle century learning how to cook, but then after she woke up following her next mother-enforced nap she found that both her favorite vegetable had stopped being grown and all of her favorite herbs were now vanished due to different cultures moving in. She’s quit in a huff since then. 

Erinys, being essentially the nanny to the entirety of the named Silesse cast at this point, absolutely can. She’s not superb at it, and doesn’t particularly enjoy it, but she can cook.

Alm softly sneaks up on Clair as he leans his head on her shoulder. He sighed as he mouth formed a pout. "Sorry if I'm bothering you, but would you mind if I stay by your side awhile?"

“Hm-”

Clair froze up when she felt his head rest on her shoulder, staring steadfastly, fixedly ahead. She wasn’t sure if she should be yelling at him for impropriety or allowing this just so her own silly fantasies could play out in her mind, judging this about the closest she’s likely to get to any real intimacy from him. 

“It is perhaps improper, but you aren’t bothering me, no.” She could settle for a middle ground, then. She hesitated and looked carefully to the shoulder he was resting on, making sure not to move her body too much. 

“Is everything...alright, Alm?”

⏰How long do their relationships tend to last? 

Hm, so far all of her ships have ended up being endgame, more or less, so Ruya tends towards serious, long-term relationships rather than casual dating. This is, in no small part, because of how busy she is and how seriously she takes her duties ( and therefore her need to hold all the Shepherds in equal regard ). While she’s generally pretty okay with casual dates, having an actual relationship is something she has to kind of be talked into, so when one does occur, she’s in it for the long haul. As a result, her relationships tend to last a long time.

Now, if she were dating someone outside the army, the possibility of a shorter relationship becomes much more likely…in no small part because of how much time and energy she devotes to her job.

💍Would they ever get married? 

Absolutely! Regardless of timeline, Ruya wants to one day get married to the love of her life and just…be happy?? She might try and convince her partner to wait, depending on the timing, but it’s absolutely something she wants for herself one day.
