Proof that I'm really trying to update the CEO Virgil / Mechanic Ali AU, guys. I doubt anything can be posted within the month of May but at least there's something in the works!
“Pep?” Virgil says as the door opens to reveal a pair of thick eyebrows, deep-set eyes and a bald head.
“Virgil?” the man says.
Subconsciously, Alisson takes a few steps back, attempting to blend into a shelf of linen shirts Tsimikas has lined up against the wall.
No suck luck. The piercing dark eyes of Tsimikas’ latest visitor land on him with an intensity that Alisson doesn’t understand, given that this Pep has no idea who Alisson is.
Of course, Alisson is aware of who Pep is, having being regaled with stories of Virgil’s childhood growing up with his adoptive parents. On the flip side, Pep definitely wouldn’t know who Alisson is, since Virgil and Alisson barely know each other –
“Is this the boy you are bringing to the ball?”
Alisson’s head whips towards Virgil. But the other man looks just as confused as Alisson. “Wait. Pep — how did, where…?”
Pep looks completely unperturbed by the two men doing their best goldfish imitations in front of him. Meanwhile, Tsimikas has conveniently busied himself with unfolding and refolding a number of bright floral shirts that looked perfectly laid out to begin with. He looks like he is desperately keeping himself from bursting into a flurry of giggles.
Well, at least one of them is enjoying himself, Alisson dourly thinks.
“Virgil, you know your dad and I talk, right?”
Virgil, if possible, looks even more flummoxed. “Jurgen talked to you about Alisson?”
“Of course. We are two retired old men. We get bored. We talk. And what better to talk about than our dear son?”
One word to describe these two! 'Daddies' 🥵🥵
