The Blackstone CEO on July 28 and the city councilman (attempt) on July 30. Both of them directly responsible for depriving people of affordable housing. The first time this happened, it was healthcare related. They know the people will be moved by another common struggle. So they can’t let you know the real motivations. They prefer to make up some preposterous cover story than state the obvious. These people both had a very specific bone to pick. They’re just hoping that you don’t get inspired, a la Luigi.
