omg ty im so honored^^ ive answered a similar ask to this before but maybe i can give some more details this time
when it comes to rendering i do a mix of like, blending colors together and then just drawing shapes (usually triangles) as hard shadows/highlights. drawing shapes everywhere is a big part of it lol, and ill either fill it in with a solid color or just draw a bunch of lines inside. basically just have fun w shapes and textures
when ur blending colors together theres a possibility u'll get this ugly muddy color in between if theyre pretty far apart on the color wheel, so ill take the color in the middle and saturate it (for example, if i need to blend pink and green together, ill use yellow in the middle)
u can also play around w blending modes when it comes to finding interesting color combinations. again, a lot of it is just experimenting
ALSOOO i like to use the same colors for different things in a piece, like for example i might use the same color for chuuya's hair and his vest. makes colors look less out of place methinks
