I spent the whole day hyper-focused on making this mock-up (and cursing out the deform->curve modifier in Blender).

It took some back and forth but I think I'll go with the stockier bods from the Nuesday style over the ones from the pen holder.

Blocking them out like this was pretty easy, but now it's time for the hard part of actually modelling a body and rigging it up 😬 Thank the internet for tutorials!

Mole cake for Valentines day!

This little cutie is a classic cartoon character from way back that was and is popular here.

The cake itself is chocolate pound cake base with bananas and straciatella whipped cream.

Nice to read you got it to run! Steam reviews have kinda discouraged me from buying, with many folks complaining about bad performance on good PCs...

I read some similar reviews while waiting for the game to install and my assessment is:

This opinion holds on Very High End PC’s, they’re not lying, but they’re not representative of the experience. It would make a lot of sense for the ports team to spend most of their time ensuring that the system handled all high settings well at decent framerates on average hardware rather than doing the fairly tricky optimization needed to do like, 4k rendering on systems with 12GB of video memory. It runs at 30 fps on normal settings on my laptop, which is roughly equivalent to a top of the line system from 2010. A really high end system really is probably underperforming, which is annoying if you spend $3000 on a PC, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad experience.

Note: there /are/ some bugs: anisotropic filtering just straight doesn’t work, and if your system is all running off one slow HDD you’re in for a rough time with the texture streaming, I had models fail to stream in for a few seconds even with separate HDD’s for OS and Game Data. SSD’s or faster HDD’s seem to be running fine. Also my computer is a superfund site, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if people with 2070′s or 2080′s are getting like, 40fps at 4k rather than their expected 60, because optimizing for 4k is Super Hard and that work benefits very few people, compared to optimizing for HD 60fps, which is what ⅔ of steam windows users are running on their primary displays.

At any rate if you have a system that handles modern games it seems like it’ll handle HZD “““acceptably”““ unless you’re a tech weenie who jacks off onto the bare die of a 400 dollar GPU every night.

if you ahve windows 10, this is the most likely soltuion (it's a new adaptive brightness setting, just like mobile phones have them)

THANK YOOOUUU you are a godsend Q_Q <3333 the proposed solution actually didn’t pan out (the adaptive brightness is already off on my computer but it was still super dim), but the solution in the comments worked perfectly!!!

For my first model of a body this is going rather well I think. My boyfriend looked at me weird when I said she'll get some bones next XD Just gonna stick some reeeal bones in the model, for fun! (and posing)

I'm not sure about the head size though, the bigger one closer to the reference looks… too big in 3D? Is it because I added a little neck? I'll probably pose them out with both head sizes and go from there.

Last but not least, when you forget to turn off render visibility… You get THE Mx Drawfee themself :P

I finished making all the holiday presents for this year, for once way ahead of schedule (instead of Christmas eve like two years ago...)

In total I made 61 big (80g) and 43 small (45g) chocolate bars, with great ingredients and molds from Pati-Versand.de

Christmas 2017 - Gingerbread Ornaments filled with Mini Cookies

Last year’s Christmas baking had me busy for almost all of December, on top of all the stress at the bakery I work for ~ But this was definitely worth the effort!

In total I made 23 of these royal icing covered gingerbread ornaments, with 9 different designs, to gift our families. All of them were stuffed to the brim with the following mini cookies:

“Dominoes” -  Gingerbread with marzipan, jelly or nougat filling, covered in chocolate

Hazelnut cookies with nougat filling

Peanut butter cookies

Gingerbread hearts

Vanilla crescents

Cinnamon stars

“Speculoos” - Almond and regular spiced cookies

Chocolate chip cookies

Inspiration for this came from the very talented Julia M. Usher and this video of hers (in fact I planned to do this 3 years ago, but only now got the nerve to take on so much work)
