im sorry but im just sitting in the toilet, reading ch 6 of killer and healer novel and i was at song rong's dialogue abt getting food outside to leave chen yuzhi and jiang yuelou alone and i remember mar's @marulo gifset that she made during our chicken essence chaos.

and song rong fckn smirked when yuelou announced that 'theres-a-man-who-trusts-me-even-when-im-low' shit as he eyed chen yuzhi and i-

he gave a knowing smirk like he knows shit behind all this companionship bullshit

that feels just hit me on the chest like, OKAY sun yongren can be pretty ignorant, almost dull abt romantic signals. but song rong is a WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL OF SPECIES.

i- i kinda undervalued song rong's detail since my chaotic energy is channeled more into yuelou or jin dacheng even. but-

yes, i just used a photoshop term theres this type of blur effect named field blur. or maybe he got.... radial blurred? definitely not just average blur.

like, holy shit he is probably the key to yuezhi's dynamic in his drama lifetime. this pains me. song rong is everything. he asked yuelou to visit yuzhi for his ABSOLUTELY FAKE sore throat. he dragged sun yongren away fr yuezhi when they wanna have a moment alone. he's efficient and intuitive.

fck song rong, you did expose jiang yuelou and chen yuzhi like that. with heavily blurred face. nothing can hide ur proud theyre kinda married.

also, if the censorship gets yeeted to black holes, not one but MANY black holes, i feel like yuelou would ask song rong for a love advice. ngl, thats the energy.

and song rong would be cautious with his boss, trying not to jump into conclusion or misunderstand him and gave yuelou the wrong message instead. he'd translate chen yuzhi's love language and jiang yuelou's to each other in separate time and place when they have misunderstandings. he'd give useful advices without defining the right or wrong because he's not the one courting yuzhi. it's yuelou who understand yuzhi more and gauge if his advice would be successful or not. he'd definitely add,

"boss, i think courting and chasing criminal are similar but also a little different. you must understand your target. you must run towards them with determination. but while chasing criminal has an authorized fixed procedure after u seize them, courting, sadly, doesnt have an internationally fixed procedure. we wont know if you go too hard or too timid unless you and dr. chen communicate. by communicating i mean, try not to excessively flirt with him to hide your nervousness cus he looks so adorable."

song rong's presence in the drama is such a secret authenticator, slipped by the crew. my, i hate to see him go.

this big brain time but i just realized heo joongse's name is somehow similar with the the word heo-se (허세) which means bluff/bravado, assuming that we didnt know the chinese character for his name.

but if the screenwriter really played around with his name, it's truly hilarious and smart, remembering how heavily polluted the air was whenever he ran his mouth lol. and how nonsensical and blatantly annoying his bullshits were.

(disclaimer: im not korean and have fluency of an elementary kid cus i dont take a serious course for it but i learn fr my 12 years kpop experience)
